Hello Family!!
A lot of things happened this week. On Tuesday night we had the Kosovo sisters stay the night. I was so excited because it was Sister Ariza (from my mtc group) that was going to stay the night with us. When she got there on Tuesday I was so excited. I couldn't sit down because I was so excited to see her. We were supposed to have a ward meeting, so a bunch of members were there and just staring at me like I was crazy because I was pacing back and forth. Then we went on splits to go teach lessons. I went with Sister Ariza and we brought Amy with us and taught one of our investigators. Then we went back and had a sleepover!! It was super great. Sister Ariza was super excited to meet Anthony because he speaks Spanish super well.
Wednesday morning we went to Elbasan for a mission conference. President Weidmann did a question and answer session which was really cool. We got back and went to Amy’s because it was her birthday. We also decorated her door in the morning. We waited until the Kosovo sisters got back from Elbasan, then we did splits with them again. Sister Ariza and I taught lessons by ourselves in Kombinat. It was hard, but exciting.
Thursday was a more normal day. We did lessons and contacting, walked around and talked. It was really nice and chill.
We have been teaching a boy who just turned 11. He is a recent convert and his mother isn't baptized. He is super adorable. He reminds me a lot of Garrett. He can be completely serious about the gospel sometimes, but other times he's just super crazy and funny. I love them so much"
Friday the Elders had a baptism and President Weidmann came. We also went to a member's house in the morning. This woman is so amazing!! I can't express it. If the church was to fall apart and all the missionaries had to leave, this woman would strap the church on her back and carry it to the ends of the earth. She's THAT awesome. The baptism was super cool and spiritual.
On Saturday we had soccer in the morning and then we went way out to the middle of nowhere to have a lesson with an investigator family. They were super sweet. Then we went to this choir performance, we sang for everyone and it was great. We practiced from 4-5, then we performed from 6-8. It was just a fun time hanging out with everyone. Then we got ice cream before we went back home to get transfer calls. Sis Z is staying in T2 which I'm super jealous about. I am going to Shkoder and Sister Dunn is going to be my companion again!! I'm having a hard time going to Shkoder. All of the missionaries have been really nice to me and keep telling me that everything is going to be okay and telling me about Shkoder. It is actually helping. We went to lunch today with everyone which was good. I didn’t feel like eating anything though.
Sunday was good...kinda...we went to Durres in the morning for church and sang there with the choir. On the way back the car broke down. We had to wait on the side of the highway until Elder Acheson came and picked us up. He got us back to Tirana in record time for church. Acheson got to give his talk. Amy promised that she would come visit me in Shkoder. I cried basically the rest of the day. I am dreading the next few hours. I'm going to have to say good bye to a lot of people that I love. We are going to Amy's at 4 pm, then we went to Kombinat to say good bye to some of our recent converts.
Pday today was a pretty good day. We went to the institute to play games and it was just super chill and fun. It's been a good, but super hard day. I love you all, all the way to Gallifrey and back!!
Love,
