We went to Tirana this week and saw the big black bird signifying that I was back in Tirana. I got to see all my missionary and member friends while we were there, and we ate awesome suflaques together. When I saw Amy, I was carrying a box of Book of Mormons, and I didn’t know what to do because I wanted to hug her so badly. So I basically dropped them on the ground. It is probably not a good thing to drop the word of God on the ground, but you know it had to be done. When we had to say goodbye again, it was like ripping out my heart again. I did not realize when I arrived in Tirana that my heart could love so much. I didn’t realize that you could love people so much. I didn’t think it was possible. It was terrible leaving again. We knocked on some doors there and had two super good tracting lessons that was awesome! It was so fun to be back in Tirana!
My new companion Sister Roi is awesome! She is amazing. On my first night with an Albanian companion, she made french fries and chofte, and we rearranged our whole apartment. She speaks English so well.
We did service this week by weeding a garden. I got stung by stinging nettle like a hundred times, and it really hurts! I thought I knew what it looks like, but apparently I don’t because when I grabbed one and Elder Ashllerr said, “what are you doing?” and I said, “why does this hurt?” Now I have white spots and rashes on my hands and it hurts, but that is okay. Unfortunately, I had to say good bye to everyone through the window of the makine I was driving because some lady was honking at me.
Currently in Shkoder, we are working with one recent convert and about 12 less actives. One of our investigators showed up to church this week! She answered her phone in the middle of sacrament meeting.
I love you to Gallifrey and back.
